@Techmeme The CBC ran a campaign with incorrect information for that law. Now they are running a campaign against the predicted results of the law.
OK.
But: Time and again they fail to disclose that the CBC hopes to get hundreds of millions of dollars from Meta and Google.
They also fail to disclose that the CBC has initiated a legal proceeding against #Meta, trying to force them to carry links to #news, so the CBC can charge Meta for it.
No #transparency. That's not good #journalism
@Techmeme Then again, I understand that the CBC writers are likely to be embarrassed by their company's recent filing (if they have taken the time to read it). Because it is hairbrained.
