Johannes KastlDear <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/kdenlive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#kdenlive</a> <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/VideoEditing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#VideoEditing</a> users, I found that I can extract parts of videos loslessly, which just takes the "stream" and does not do any re-encoding or rendering.In my naive thinking it should be possible to just "concatenate" some videos (all using the same video and audio codecs) by taking the stream of each of them and putting them into a new "container" (think: mkv).But I failed to find that option.Also when just loading one single video and rendering the project, I get totally different sizes depending on the profile I use, but I found none that does not do any re-encoding at all.Am I missing something? Or is that really not possible?Or do I have to create a custom profile and handwrite the cryptic options to make this work? If so, does someone have something I can start from?Thanks in advance!
