#Registration laws were originally intended as an inventory of noncitizens in the country, Morawetz said. But once govt officials obtained that info, they used it to aid the #detention of #Japanese Americans during WWII & #Muslims after the Sept 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

German number plate nerds, I summon you!

I'm trying to figure out the closest to a correct plate for 1990-2000 that can feature 'mama' in it.

I think that means I have to use MA for Mannheim (thanks Wikipedia) but I don't know how the rest of the plate would lay out.

Also I'm not sure what font I should be using as I understand that changed too.

The closer I can get to a real plate, the better.
