Liane M. Dubowy<p>Mein <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Nobara" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Nobara</span></a> ist jetzt wieder up-to-date auf Nobara 41. Falls ihr einen Eindruck wollt, wie das Upgrade bei Nobara abläuft, seht ihr hier die einzelnen Schritte:</p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/7BO2UNw5HyQ" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">youtu.be/7BO2UNw5HyQ</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/linuxdistribution" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linuxdistribution</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/NobaraLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NobaraLinux</span></a></p>
Da Linux beardude<p>(1/10) I haven't even done a proper <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>introduction</span></a> yet so here goes.</p><p>Hello! I'm RLB. I'm a 22 year old brown bear. I'm a self taught <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> user, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/tinkerer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tinkerer</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/technician" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>technician</span></a>. I do <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/linuxgaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linuxgaming</span></a> on Arch, btw.</p><p>The distros I've used and/or a bit familiar of using over the past 3 years of being on Linux are <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ubuntu</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/archlinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>archlinux</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/debian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>debian</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/fedora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fedora</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/slackware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>slackware</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/nixos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nixos</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gentoo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gentoo</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/opensuse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>opensuse</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/alpinelinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>alpinelinux</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/linuxmint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linuxmint</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/manjaro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>manjaro</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/endeavouros" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>endeavouros</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/bazzite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bazzite</span></a>, and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/nobaralinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nobaralinux</span></a>.</p>
Johannes Kastl<p>Hmmmmm. Why does this one <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> machine (<a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/NobaraLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NobaraLinux</span></a>, based on <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/Fedora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fedora</span></a>) restart even if I explicitly tell it to shutdown ("shutdown -h now")?</p><p>Checked the UEFI / BIOS, all obvious things (Power on after AC loss and the like) are set properly.</p><p>Funny...</p>
Johannes Kastl<p>Does anyone have a pointer or RTFM for me on where to find more information on <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/bluetooth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bluetooth</span></a> profiles on <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/fedora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fedora</span></a> / <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/nobaralinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nobaralinux</span></a>?</p><p>I have a bluetooth headset that connects to my opensuse laptop and is recognized as a headset, i.e. not just headphones. I can select its microphone in the sound settings.</p><p>On Nobara Linux the same headset only connects as headphones, it seems no microphone is recognized.</p><p>I found this, which is pretty generic (neverthe less I'll play around with the commands)<br><a href="https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/troubleshooting-bluetooth-problems/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/q</span><span class="invisible">uick-docs/troubleshooting-bluetooth-problems/</span></a></p>

Liane M. Zum Beispiel ist <a href="https://social.heise.de/tags/Gnome" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Gnome</span></a> 44 dabei. <a href="https://social.heise.de/tags/NobaraLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NobaraLinux</span></a> hat im Discord derweil angekündigt, den Support für Nobara 36 einzustellen. Ein Update auf Nobara 37 ist daher angeraten. Liane M. Dubowy<p>Da wo andere das Thema <a href="https://social.heise.de/tags/Gaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Gaming</span></a> mit einem vorinstallierten <a href="https://social.heise.de/tags/Steam" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Steam</span></a>-Client abhaken, fängt <a href="https://social.heise.de/tags/NobaraLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NobaraLinux</span></a> erst an: Alles dabei, was man für Games, Livestreams, Videoschnitt usw. braucht. Auch so nette Details wie die richtigen Plugins für <a href="https://social.heise.de/tags/OBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>OBS</span></a>, getrennte <a href="https://social.heise.de/tags/pipewire" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>pipewire</span></a>-Audioquellen für Anwendungen, um Sachen einzeln stumm zu schalten. Was man sonst eben erst selbst konfigurieren müsste. <br /><a href="https://heise.de/-7476245" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">heise.de/-7476245</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
