The area where I live is one of the better ones for public transit but buses may only come every half hour in many places and not always reliably, with reduced or no service on some routes on weekends.(Ideally buses should arrive at stops no more than 15-20 minutes apart: that’s when you get wealthier people using the bus system, too.)/3
