I will watch this for the first time this weekend.Sneakers is also on sale for $4. I don't get it. *why* is this film good?I've been an avid horror enthusiast since I was a kid and I've seen every single technique, every single trope, pulled off with more mastery in a number of other movies. Longlegs really isn't doing anything particularly well, not anything particularly new. It's like the reviewers have watched another movie altogether.(1/2)

fraenckoLonglegs (2024): Eher Thriller mit Mysteryelementen als Horror, aber macht nix. Maika Monroe spielt die FBI-Agentin sehr zurückgenommen. Serienkiller Nic Cage als King of Overacting – super Kontrast! (Cage könnte eigentlich auch ’nen guten Joker abgeben.)Haben das Ende nicht vorhergesehen und das ist ja schon mal gut. Longlegs ist nicht herausragend wie hie und da zu lesen, aber sehr unterhaltsam.
