The usability of #Gimp @GIMP is even worse these days then when I first used it. Is this just my experience as someone who only uses it occasionally or are #graphics #designers that use it daily also having that impression?

Esp. Trying to get simple things done is very annoying.

Want to change the color of exactly one pixel? => Screw you I'll apply antialiasing and fuck up all surrounding pixels with no obvious way to disable it.

Graphite looks amazing, especially for Linux users who have (as far as I know) no comparably polished tool for vector and raster graphics design. I'm finding I'm far more effective in a few minutes with Graphite than I am with Krita, Gimp, or Pinta, which I have all tried and used many times.

It sounds like a desktop app will be available soon, and the browser version is already fabulous:

Okay, using #signal and a weird thing just happened (not bad, just weird?): I pressed CTRL+V (on desktop Signal) and it seemed like I sent (through chat) a square of solid color. I pressed CTRL+V again and a different color. And like that.

Any ideas what's going on?

Notes:
- I did CTRL+V in a LibreOffice Write document and nothing happened
- Linux Mint XFCE
- Sadly, the screenshot (below) seems to have replaced whatever was in my clipboard, so I can't currently replicate this.
