This was announced by the admin of a very popular channel VChK-OGPU (ВЧК-ОГПУ) which posted all kinds of criminal cases and scandals related to Russian authorities. The admin also noted that his channel was not only deleted, but also immediately recreated (taken over) by someone else who likely knew in advance about the legal request and used it to lure former subscribers. The new channel now posts mostly low-quality spam. This serves yet another reminder that Telegram should not be considered an independent or safe messenger or news platform, Russian authorities clearly can influence Telegram owner Pavel Durov and they use this opportunity when they need it.
