The ultimate SLI abomination setup:
- 1x Nvidia A100 40GB
- 1x Nvidia Tesla P100 16GB
- 2x Nvidia A2 15GB
- 3x AMD Instinct MI50
- 1x Intel Arc A770 16GB

I split the 2.5B cells in 9 domains of 15GB - A100 takes 2 domains, the other GPUs 1 domain each. The GPUs communicate over PCIe via #OpenCL.

📣 NEWS FOR #HAIKU: #NVIDIA GPU support coming soon! 🚀

Developer @X512 has successfully ported Nvidia kernel drivers to Haiku. The driver will support Turing+ GPUs and already includes Vulkan integration via Mesa's NVK.

Initial tests are working and show potential for future uses, including AI acceleration with llama.cpp.

A major step forward for the Haiku ecosystem and hardware compatibility!

@Lyude You know what is really sad about all that? I got to hang out at the University of Utah graphics lab pretty much unrestrained, and met people like Ed Catmull. He said something cool one time abut how #GPU technology would allow an entirely new renassaince in imagination, and creativity and expression. It was technology meant for HUMANS! And now look at how it's being used :\

Finally, the setting I've been looking for is disabled and I can move on with life. Oh don't worry, it's not in the usual place of course, every device must be special, if that wasn't ensured by the proclivity in Linux towards "yes there are breaking changes which we might not have documented. submit a bug if you find one, we can't be expected to document releases effectively. what, did you expect that is this a BSD phone? lol,no it's android."

Pausing to remind myself that since this is the modern era, finding the answer amongst the vastness of potential data sources and search engine results... the answer was rapidified by asking my local LLM about specific Android version options which are part of the manufacturer's modified UX element tree:

and there you have it, one query. I should have defaulted to that by default.

also, Gemma3 is very fast on Ollama... now I need to test the quantized version "Fallen-Gemma3-4B-v1g-Q6_K" for a comparison.
