Anne Deschaine<p>This is not a watermark. This is a tar mark. An affront to both reading comprehension and scholarship. And a quick way to make me super grumpy because I wanted to actually read the article that was made available for download.</p><p>Incidentally, this watermark was not visible in the online PDF. It appeared only in the download.</p><p><a href="https://zirk.us/tags/digitalPublishing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>digitalPublishing</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/academicPublishing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>academicPublishing</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/copyright" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>copyright</span></a></p>

Dan 🏳️‍🌈<p>Been here a few days and I guess it is time for <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/introductions" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>introductions</span></a>. I am an academic librarian working in digital infrastructure, particularly related to <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/digitalhumanities" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>digitalhumanities</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/digitalpublishing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>digitalpublishing</span></a> and <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/scholcomm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>scholcomm</span></a>. I run a small open access library publishing operation, IOPN, at U Illinois. Likely to be tooting about these things but also what I am cooking, reading, listening to, and where I am traveling. Picked tech.lgbt bc something aligned w other queer infrastructure types seemed a nice place to start.</p>
