So maybe someone else knows this? Is there are an easy way to find the current number of accounts in the #Fediverse, that are bridged via #BridgyFed?
Similar to this file, which has the number from the other direction:
https://fed.brid.gy/nodeinfo.json
Or is this not even right? Is this the number of bridged accounts from both sites together (because the account on Bluesky has way less followers)?
@mho I tried it from the Fediverse but I don’t think it worked very well because of the difference in character count. It works better the other way.
That's right, but I explicitly wrote "bridged via BridgyFed". I know, there are more possibilites to connect the services.
But I also think, that #BridgyFed connects an order of magnitude more people.
@mho@social.heise.de @snarfed@social.heise.de @mackuba@social.heise.de I currently found this directory (https://blue.mackuba.eu/directory/fedi) that contains a lot of info about accounts on Bluesky. But it still far from a complete directory. For example, this account on there use custom domain for its handle and not using the original handle, and it doesn't show up on that directory. Mine is now @fedi.ufal.my.id
, it was @ufal.misskey.id.ap.brid.gy
by default.
@mho fedidb lists bridgyfed as an ActivityPub service https://fedidb.org/software/bridgy-fed - but I don't know how reliable the site is. Anyway, it might be start.
